My partner and I can be quite chalk and cheese at times, but Stephen was really good at finding a way for us both to communicate effectively during our sessions. We are a blended family and were struggling with some really complicated dynamics. I suggested therapy as a last resort as we just could not seem to get out of the same cycle when certain topics were broached. He created a space where we both felt able to express ourselves, and we even had a laugh along the way, which was really welcome and much needed. We’ve been doing much better with communication since our last session six weeks ago. I really valued Stephen’s patience and felt very supported by him. He adapted well to our individual needs and the dynamics of our relationship. I never expected miracles after 12 weeks, as we both need to continue building and embedding new habits going forward, but I’m now in a position where I genuinely feel that this is possible for us, and I think that’s largely down to the practical tools Stephen gave us throughout our programme.

Steve has helped me navigate what has been one of the hardest periods of my life. He was incredibly easy to talk to from the very first session and I instantly felt safe, completely listened to, and never judged. He has a calm and thoughtful approach, probing gently and asking insightful questions that challenged me in the right ways. His responses were always discerning, balanced, and professional. We spent our sessions walking around Bramhall Park, which I found really therapeutic and it created a really grounding and calming environment for reflection and growth. At the end of every session, Steve would carefully recap what we had discussed and give me specific homework tasks to focus on between sessions. I found this incredibly helpful, as it gave me a sense of purpose. I always left our sessions feeling calmer, more confident, and more in control of myself. I’m genuinely very grateful for the support and guidance he gave me as he equipped me with practical tools and techniques, improving regulation and communication, and I feel I have benefited greatly from the experience and have become a far more reflective, self-aware, and emotionally resilient person as a result. I just wanted to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to you Steve. I will miss our sessions but I do feel I am now in a stronger place to be able to deal with whatever comes next.

Stephen really helped my partner and I with issues we were having. We were in a bad cycle of arguments and couldn’t move on from them but Stephen helped us get a better understanding of each other and our own perspectives of things. It has been very useful. Thanks Stephen.

As newly wed's we were struggling with the changes in our relationship. I honestly thought we would split up, less than a year after marrying. As a last ditch attempt to save our marriage we decided on counselling. We googled lots of counsellors, and after reading lots of reviews decided Steve was the best match for us. We have loved working with Steve, and we are definitely back on track and probably happier than we have ever been. Its because previous couples have left reviews that we went with Steve so I feel it's the right thing to do for others, so they can make informed choices. Thank you Steve, for all of your support and advice. We now have lots of different tools to communicate effectively.

I really enjoyed working with Stephen and he had a huge impact on improving my relationship. I learnt lots about my partner, and they me, we understand one another much better now and we also have some great tools to refer to as and when we need to. Would 100% recommend him to work with, he really understood our challenges and tailored our work together to our needs. We finished our sessions feeling super positive about our future together. I also came away with more knowledge about myself and skills I can transfer across to help me in my day to day life. Thanks again Stephen!

Mine and my partner’s experience with Steve has been great and super helpful. We decided the 6 week course was best for us (3 sessions) and we learnt and grew so much in such little time. Steve showed us we are not alone in how we feel and provided us with a variety of information and methods of dealing with the issues we were facing. We finished the course having a clear plan for our future, and with loads of new resources that we can, and will, continue to use in the future. Not only did the sessions and extra resources help my relationship, it has also helped my in my day to day life, and me and my partner have left this program feeling more positive than ever.
